Chassidi Ferguson
Founder and President
Chassidi serves as founder and President of Shout Ministries. She was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa and completed her bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Public Relations from Columbia College Chicago. It was during her time in Chicago that she was inspired to move home to Waterloo and launch SHOUT! Ministries. Chassidi has a passion for Urban Ministry and is a member of Harvest Vineyard Church. She is also affiliated with Abundant Grace Assembly in Chicago, where she received the vision for Shout Ministries.
Brion Martin
Evangelism Chair
Brion Martin is our Evangelism Chairperson, and coordinates all of our prayer and evangelism walks. He teaches the “Way of the Master” Evangelism Training Course which is open to the public, and organizes teams to witness at each of our events. Brion was born in Waterloo and lived in Minnesota for several years before returning to the Cedar Valley. Brion is a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church. He has a true passion for evangelism and reaching the lost.
Blayne Jesse
Event Coordinator
Blayne
Jesse is our Event Coordinator. She coordinates volunteers, and works out all
logistics of each of our ministry events. She is a student at the University of
Northern Iowa with a Leisure, Youth and Human Services major. She is a member
of Orchard Hill Church where she serves on the Operation Team.
Missionary on Assignment/Advisory Board Member
Armond Floyd is a missionary for Young Community, a youth organization based in Wisconsin. He is now on assignment with Bridge of Hope Church to help with outreach, youth, and music. He also partners with Shout Ministries in various ways as we seek to influence urban youth and adults in Waterloo. Armond is a national speaker for Young Community in their ministry to teens. His work takes him to schools, churches, teen events and concerts, etc. As a missionary, Pastor Floyd has to raise his own support from various like-minded organizations that would be willing to promote positive role modeling for today’s youth. Armond's work takes him to cities all over the country as he speaks to large groups of teens about making wise choices and living clean lifestyles.
Community Liaison
Ellaysa Newton serves as our Community Liason and Intercessory prayer leader. She is responsible for staying abreast of the issues effecting our neighborhoods, and community as a whole and conveying those needs to our board of directors. She also builds bridges between Shout and other ministries in the Cedar Valley and beyond. She is originally from Pontiac, Michigan and grew up in Northeast Texas. She is the founder of Perfected Praise Dance Ministry, which is comprised of a diverse group Christian dancers. Ellaysa is a member of Gift of Life Church in Waterloo.
Treasurer
Latricia Hylton serves as our Finance coordinator and treasurer. She is the Math Coordinator at the University of Northern Iowa. Latricia is originally from Ocho Rios, Jamaica and has lived in the Cedar Valley since 1996. She is a member of Christ Temple Baptist Church where she serves as the Youth Leader.
Secretary
Laura Hoy is Shout’s secretary. She is a member of Orchard Hill Church where she serves as the Local Missions Chair. Laura also leads Love Cedar Valley, a ministry that unites the Body of Christ to do random acts of kindness throughout the community, and show the love of Jesus in practical ways. Laura was born and raised in Waterloo and now lives with her family in Cedar Falls. Laura is also a substitute teacher in the Cedar Falls School District.
